New Cabinet,Old Kitchen

Interesting choice.

I am surprised that Rafidah is out,Tengku Correct Adnan is out, JJ is out. Not that I am not glad, but it smacked of an admission of guilt. You mean those guys are corrupt?
I am surprised and I am definitely NOT glad with the appointment of Mat Taib. Must be a Minister for the Brown Tongue portfolio!

I am glad that Zaid is in and my take is that it is damage control for the inter religious deterioration lately.
Again an admission of fault in appointing him as a Minister when you dropped him from PRU. At least he can go around telling people he didn't lose!!!

I not betting but I doubt this cabinet will retain this shape after UMNO AGM or EGM.

Tsunami, anniversary and St. Patrick's day.

OMG,
Since my last post SOOOO many things happened.

First things first. Today is my 14th wedding anniversary.

Did we have anything special for the day? Nope, she was busy at work the whole day and so was I. (She was busier)
Did we have anything special? Yes, 14 years of married bliss and 5 lovely kids. My God, five? Yes, five.

Not by design we got married on this date, it is only later we found out that it's also Paddy's Day..let's paint things green.

Wait a minute, we did paint Kelantan,Kedah green and tinge of green in Wilayah,Perak and Selangor.

On a personal note, I am more settled now in Kuala Lumpur. My family and the rest of the clan are here with me. No more long distance parenting.

Barisan Nasional have been tsunamied. I blame (or gave credit to, depending on my mood of the day) Pak Lah for being so disconnected with the masses. Everybody knows that the sentiment on the ground was bad, except him. It is so appropriate that his SIL ( the won-by-cheating MP of Rembau) opened a shop called TENC in Pavillion. The Emperor's New Clothes..I don't know whether the irony was intended. And now, he is really naked.

Let's hope Barisan Rakyat can show that they can work for the betterment of the country. I worry that their differences will be a hindrance. DAP need to appear being Malaysian Malaysia, that they preach rather than appearing like chauvinistic Chinese (which they might be really are, see, even I still have my lingering doubts which I ignored during elections). They better pull through, I have incurred wraths of many fellow Malay muslims for defending them.
For better opinions please refer to Raja Petra's site.
Not sure whether it's the gospel truth but it's quite juicy.
PKR seems ok. I thought of joining their party but after voting BN for previous 4 elections, trusting Anwar Ibrahim might take some time but I'm trying to.
PAS, I have no problem with them as long as they can be realistic with their demands. As a non drinking, monogamously married man, I have absolutely no issue with them except the part about them taking away my personal liberty. PAS needs to realise, my duty to GOD is mine.Their duty to govern justly is their burden to the same GOD.

Lastly, it's not good to say bad things about dead people but Zakaria Deros died the night BN lost. I doubt there is a palace as grand as his palatial house, where he has gone.
