More than paint job needed.

Utusan Malaysia quoted that Operating Rooms needed a new paint job to reduce infection.I think the gap here is the relationship between infection rate and the type of paint in Malaysian ORs.
I tend to believe there are other physical factors that needed to be addressed too like air circulation, humidity,temperature and the traffic flow.

You won't believe it that some ORs in our country actually uses split air-con units within the OR proper.Kind of putting paid to the laminar flow theory..Ah yes, these are ACCREDITED hospitals and it's more amazing when it happens within academic institutions.

I usually smirk when someone come up with a suggestion that we need to spend money in order to improve our services.
Invariably, it involved someone getting kick backs.Makes me feel like kicking their arses.
